Pink River Dolphins hail from the Northwest and are punching neon synth-pop back to the 80’s with their dirty, rock ‘n’ roll fuzz. The band puts the same amount of effort into every one of their chaotically raucous live shows, whether it’s a small pub/club or a prestigious Northwest venue (Barfly, 02 Academy, Korova Club). Citing collective influences such as Supergrass, The Clash, The Libertines, The Kinks, the band members draw on their own individual musical tastes to provide a more original take on these group influences. These individual influences have shaped the way the band members play, such as Callum’s funk-fuzz bass techniques and Ryan’s gritty blues based guitar riffs. Now, with the release of their second E.P. and huge up-coming 02 Academy gig in Liverpool, the band continue to build their fan base, write new material and perform powerfully energetic live shows.
